Sitting high above Midtown Manhattan, 301 West 57th Street is a prestigious address. Erected in 1988, Central Park Place is a modern, post-war condominium with panoramic views of the city, Columbus Circle, and New York City’s glorious Central Park.
The Challenge
This beautiful two-bedroom, two-bath aerie located on the 39th floor was a rewarding project. Bringing it into the 21st century in terms of electrical, lighting, and home automation was the order of the day. Coordinating deliveries, managing waste removal, and ensuring safety in such a congested environment requires meticulous planning.
With its breathtaking view of Central Park, it has it all. After completing the mechanical inner workings and creating a blank canvas, we manifested another of Sara Mosele’s exquisite designs. Luxurious elements included new Listone Giordano flooring of handsome Italian pre-engineered hardwood seamlessly meeting large format Florim Ceramic in the kitchen and bathroom. The bespoke Mason kitchen by Empty Studios, fitted with black marble countertops and Miele appliances, creates a cozy niche in this sun kissed apartment. Other features include custom bathroom wall tiling, electric blackout blinds, and Floss sconces, allowing the owner total control to set the mood for this dramatic, intimate, and winning home in the sky.
